Asa Jungreis

Asa Jungreis serves as an Inspector with the San Francisco Entertainment Commission, contributing to the vibrancy of the city's arts and culture. A San Francisco native, Jungreis holds degrees in Community & Regional Development and Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems from UC Davis. His journey in public service began in Hawaii, where he took on roles such as Elections Clerk for the Honolulu Elections Division and Office Manager for the State Representative overseeing the House Energy and Environmental Protection Committee.

Passionate about sustainability, Jungreis has dedicated time to nonprofit organizations and agricultural tech startups, working to provide farmers with social, environmental, and economic resources to improve their sustainability outcomes. Now back in his hometown, he channels his love for public service into enhancing the quality of life for San Francisco residents.

Outside of work, he can be found cheering on the Giants, hosting board game and trivia nights, biking through Golden Gate Park, and enjoying live performances at the city's diverse music venues. His commitment to community and his love for the City by the Bay contribute to his eagerness to make a positive impact on San Francisco's concert and nightlife scene
