How do I schedule an Offer of Opinion meeting with a Forensic Toxicologist Expert?
Please send an email to OCME.FLD@sfgov.org stating your request alongside any and all materials (offer of opinion form, forensic toxicology report, police report, other relevant information, etc.) the Expert is to consider.
I need a Forensic Toxicologist Witness and/or Expert witness to appear in court, what are the next steps?
Please first schedule an offer of opinion as described above. Then issue and hand deliver a subpoena to San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner located at 1 Newhall Street in San Francisco. Please ensure the subpoena includes the correct OCME Case Number and the Forensic Toxicologist Witness and/or Expert’s name. Subpoenas are expected to be delivered at least 5 business days in advance to needed testimony.
