When can I have a funeral?
As soon as you secure the services of a mortuary or funeral home. We release the decedent 24 – 72 hours after the decedent is taken into our care.
Is viewing or visitation allowed while the decedent is at OCME?
Generally, no. A viewing should take place at the mortuary or funeral home.
