Beginning February 12, 2022, cyclists will have weekend access to the bike path connecting Vista Point on Yerba Buena Island to Treasure Island along Macalla Road.
The access is limited to weekends due to ongoing construction on the Southgate Road Realignment Project. Expanded access to the bike path and new sidewalks will be available once Southgate construction is complete, expected by summer 2022.

Bicyclists:
Beginning February 12, 2022, the following schedule applies:
- Weekends and holidays: Bike path between Vista Point on Yerba Buena Island and Treasure Island along Macalla Road is open sunrise to sunset.
- Weekdays: Bike path between Vista Point on Yerba Buena Island and Treasure Island along Macalla Road is closed.
Pedestrians:
Beginning February 12, 2022, the following schedule applies:
- Weekdays, weekends, and holidays: There is no pedestrian access because there is no sidewalk yet along Macalla Road.
- Sidewalk access along Macalla Road will be available once Southgate Road Realignment construction is complete.
Vista Point:
Beginning February 12, 2022: the following schedule applies:
- Weekdays, weekends, and holidays: Vista Point is open to bicyclists and pedestrians from sunrise to sunset.
