December 01, 2022

The voter turnout in the November 8 election is 62.32%, representing votes cast by 310,071 of San Francisco’s 497,561 registered voters.

Final results summary and detailed reports are now available online. The Department applied a SHA-512 cryptographic function to election reports associated with this election to establish the integrity of the results in a verifiable manner.

With election results reports, the Department also posted images of ballot cards cast in San Francisco’s November 8 election. Any member of the public may use the Ballot Audit Review application to sort ballot card images by precinct, district, or contest and view how a vote mark on any given ballot card was interpreted and counted by San Francisco’s voting system.

The Department submitted all the required election certification documentation to the California Secretary of State and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
