Season’s greetings! We want to share some exciting news – the Building Inspection Commission has a new member, Earl Shaddix.
Commissioner Shaddix is the Executive Director of Economic Development on Third – a community-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting residents and businesses along the Third Street corridor.
His first Building Inspection Commission meeting will be the December 14 Special Meeting. Please join us in welcoming Commissioner Shaddix!

Reminder – Beat the End-of-Year Rush
As anticipated, we are seeing an increase in activity this month as people hustle to get their building permits in before the Accessible Business Entrance program deadline on December 31 and the code cycle update goes into effect on January 1.
We strongly encourage you to submit your applications by December 15. Late permit applications may be subject to the 2023 building codes.
