      This item is to allow the Treasure Island Director to report on Island Operations and Development activities including leasing, health and public safety, utilities, budget, Quality of Life issues, social services and on-Island events, the status of environmental remediation and coordination with the Department of the Navy, interactions with other City and State agencies, progress with Treasure Island Community Development in implementation of the Disposition and Development Agreement and related plans, and other activities related to the transfer and development of the former Naval Station Treasure Island.

      Resolution Approving and Endorsing an Option to Lease Agreement between the Treasure Island Development Authority and the Department of Public Health on behalf of the Behavioral Health Building. Providing an Option with a Term that ends December 31, 2026 with an Extension Option of Twelve Months to Lease a portion of Parcel E1.2 for the Development of Behavioral Health Beds (Action Item) – 10 minutes

    11. Long-Term Care for TIDA Parks

      The TIDA Board will hear an informational presentation on a collaborative project between TIDA staff and the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department (RPD). On March 7, 2024, the TIDA Director announced the intention to explore the feasibility of RPD overseeing the operations and management of the Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island parks. Since that announcement, TIDA staff have shared information regarding the parks and their financing. Over the past six months, RPD staff have been gaining a detailed understanding of TIDA’s parks and beginning the analysis of the anticipated operations and maintenance costs for the parks. Together, TIDA and RPD staff have scoped and launched a project to deliver findings on the cost of operations and maintenance within 6 months. Staff will present an outline of this work, along with a proposed hearing schedule, to the TIDA Board.

      Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Execution of a First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement between the Treasure Island Development Authority and Rubicon Enterprises, Inc., a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, to increase the annual Scope of Services and not to exceed Contract Amount for Fiscal Year 2024-2025

    The Treasure Island Development Authority holds its regular meetings at San Francisco City Hall.  City Hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and others with disabilities. Assistive listening devices are available upon request. Agendas are available in large print.  Materials in alternative formats and/or American Sign Language interpreters will be made available upon request.

    This meeting will be broadcast and captioned on SFGovTV. Remote public participation is available upon request for individuals who cannot attend in person due to disability. Making a request to participate remotely no later than one (1) hour prior to the start of the meeting helps ensure availability of the meeting link. Sign Language Interpretation is also available upon request.

    If requesting remote Sign Language Interpretation, please submit an accommodation request a minimum of 4 business hours prior to the start of the meeting. Allowing a minimum of 48 business hours for all other accommodation requests (for example, for other auxiliary aids and services) helps ensure availability.     The nearest accessible BART station is Civic Center Plaza at the intersection of Market, Grove, and Hyde Streets.  The accessible MUNI Metro lines are the J, K, L, M, and N (Civic Center Station or Van Ness Avenue Station).  MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 47 Van Ness, 9 San Bruno, and the 6, 7, 71 Haight/ Noriega.  Accessible curbside parking is available on 1 Dr. Carlton B.
