RESOLVED, That the Boards of Trustees of the Fine Arts Museums Foundation and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, upon the recommendation of the Chair of the Acquisitions Committee, do hereby authorize the Director (or his designee) to accept gifts of art offered to the Fine Arts Museums Foundation and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco from October 9, 2024 through December 31, 2024, if in his (or his designee’s) judgment, they deem it acceptable; and, be it

WHEREAS, The Corporation of the Fine Arts Museums is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that exists to support the activities of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; now, therefore, be itRESOLVED, That the Board of Trustees of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco does hereby acknowledge with gratitude funding in the amount of $13,571,731 expended by the Corporation of the Fine Arts Museums for operations during the period April 1 through June 30, 2024.

Accessibility Meeting Policy
The de Young and Legion of Honor are wheelchair accessible. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs) will be available. For Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD), the Museums use the California Relay Service.
Remote public participation is available upon request for individuals who cannot attend in-person due to a disability. Making a request to participate remotely no later than four (4) hours prior to the start of the meeting helps ensure availability of the meeting link.
Sign Language Interpretation is also available upon request. Captions can be enabled if participating remotely. If requesting remote Sign Language Interpretation, please submit an accommodation request a minimum of four (4) business hours prior to the start of the meeting.
The following will also be made available upon request: (1) a sound enhancement system; (2) a meeting agenda or minutes available in alternative formats; and/or (3) a reader during the meeting. In compliance with the Language Access Ordinance, oral interpretation or translation services will be made available upon request in the language the member of the public requests. This also includes translation of meeting notices, agendas, and minutes (only after the body adopts them), upon written request. The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco occupy unceded land of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who are the original inhabitants of what is now the San Francisco Peninsula. The greater Bay Area is also the ancestral territory of other Ohlone peoples, as well as the Miwok, Yokuts, and Patwin. We acknowledge, recognize, and honor the Indigenous ancestors, elders, and descendants whose nations and communities have lived in the Bay Area over many generations and continue to do so today. We respect the enduring relationships that exist between Indigenous peoples and their homelands. We are committed to partnering with Indigenous communities to raise awareness of their legacy and engage with the history of this region and the impacts of genocide and the dynamics of settler colonialism that persist.
