A. FREQUENCY OF SHELTER INSPECTIONS

The Subcommittee will discuss language to implement the change in inspection frequency for shelters with few complaints, to make it possible to begin inspecting Navigation Centers (where the benefit is likely to be greater).

Proposed Action: Agree on the text to be placed before the full Committee, to allow fewer inspections of shelters with few issues.

A. RETURN TO PRE-PANDEMIC SHELTER CAPACITY Chair Plunkett 10 minThe Subcommittee will discuss issues relating to increase in population and density. There are likely to be more challenges, especially if staffing isn’t increased. SIP hotels will be closing by December 2022.

The Subcommittee will discuss whether posted and intake information is adequate. There has been some confusion relating to this subject.
