    2. II. OLD BUSINESS

      A. NAVIGATION CENTERS – NEXT STEPS

      The Subcommittee will discuss next steps to bringing Navigation Centers into the SMC bailiwick. Shall draft inspection forms be shared with Navigation Center management? Can the Committee attend their next monthly meeting?  Would it be premature to consider taking complaints in January?

      B. COMPANION ANIMALS

      Members will discuss what if any additional adjustments or recommendations regarding service and companion animals in the shelter system should be pursued. Are rules regarding animals currently posted in most shelters?  Would it be fair to look for signage during inspections?

      A.   STAFF TRAINING INSPECTION FORM QUESTIONS

      Discuss how inspections can be improved to provide more accurate and timely feedback to shelters and other stakeholders as to the training staff have received.

      B.   BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

      The Subcommittee will discuss whether and where services are covered by the SOCs and what steps the SMC might take to ensure that information is made available to clients.

    5. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
