Public Comment can be made by phone during the virtual meeting:

- To make comment, press *3 (star, three) to raise your hand.
- You will hear a prompt confirming that your hand has been raised & that you have joined the queue.

- When it is your turn, you will then hear a prompt saying that "You have been unmuted" and you may begin your comment. Please speak only to the entire Council, and not to individual members; you will have 3 minutes to make your public comment.

The DJJ Realignment Subcommittee will discuss and possibly adopt a resolution setting forth findings required under Assembly Bill 361 that would allow the Subcommittee to hold meetings remotely according to the modified Brown Act teleconferencing set forth in AB 361.

- After you've joined the call, listen to the meeting and wait until it's time for public comment
- When the clerk announces it's time for public comment, dial *3 to get added to the speaker line
- You will hear “You have raised your hand to ask a question. Please wait to speak until the host calls on you"
- When you hear "Your line has been unmuted," you can make your public comment
- You will have 3 minutes to make your public comment
