    Overview

    The Controller's Office will lead and facilitate a working group that includes the Mayor’s Office, Board of Supervisors, Controller, SFMTA leadership, community partners, and members of the public to gather public input, identify solutions, and provide recommendations to address the near-term and medium-term funding gap.

    Please join the Muni Funding Working Group November meeting in-person or online.

    The agenda and link to stream the meeting will be posted here prior to the meeting. Please note that the WebEx stream will be paused during the breakout groups. Members of the public who are attending in person are welcome to remain in the room.

    Public Comment

    The Muni Funding Working Group is a working group, not a policy body. While the Committee is not required to take public comment, we welcome public participation and in-person public comment.

    Public comments can also be shared via email to con.munifunding@sfgov.org.

    Remote public participation is available upon request for individuals who cannot attend in person due to disability. To request accommodation, please contact con.munifunding@sfgov.org at least three hours in advance of the meeting.

    City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible entrances are located on Van Ness Avenue and Grove Street.

    BART: The nearest BART station is Civic Center (Market/8th streets).

    Muni: The office is two blocks from the Muni Metro Civic Center Station at Market and 8th streets. Numerous bus lines also serve the area.

    Car Parking: Parking is available at the Civic Center Underground Parking Garage (McAllister and Polk), and at the Performing Arts Parking Garage (Grove and Franklin). Please see parking rates by visiting the following parking reservation sites and typing in the address.

    (Chapter 67 of the San Francisco Administrative Code) Government’s duty is to serve the public, reaching its decisions in full view of the public. Commissions, boards, councils and other agencies of the City and County exist to conduct the people’s business. This ordinance assures that deliberations are conducted before the people and that City operations are open to the people’s review.
