Presidio Trust Bicycle Safety Improvements (Presentation)
Dana Polk and Prakash Pinto - The Presidio Trust is taking measures over the summer of 2023 to improve bike facilities on the section of Arguello south of Washington Boulevard. As an interim plan, the Trust will add or modify signage and pavement markings this summer. This section of Arguello is also included as part of a larger repaving project scheduled for construction in 2024. Permanent measures will be implemented then, incorporating any adjustments or modifications learned from the interim plan.
8. Resolution in Support of AB73 – Stop as Yield (Resolution)
Bert Hill - AB 73 would require individuals riding a bicycle, 18 years of age or older, approaching a two-lane road with a stop sign at all intersections to have the option to treat the stop sign as a yield sign.
