    2. Discussion and possible action regarding File No. 230658 amending the Building Code to increase fees charged by the Department of Building Inspection by 15%.

      The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the Code Advisory Committee for their further action.

    3. Discussion and possible action regarding proposed amendments to the San Francisco Housing Code

      Discussion and possible action regarding proposed amendments to the San Francisco Housing Code Section 713 Elevators to disallow abandonment of Elevators in R-1 and R-2 Occupancies.

      The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the Code Advisory Committee for their further action.

    4. Discussion and possible action regarding creation of alternative building standards

      Discussion and possible action regarding creation of alternative building standards to assist the adaptive reuse of existing office buildings.

      The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the Code Advisory Committee for their further action.

    5. Subcommittee Members’ and Staff’s identification of new agenda items, as well as current agenda items to be continued to another subcommittee regular meeting or special meeting.
    6. Public Comment

      Public comment will be heard on items not on this agenda but within the jurisdiction of the Code Advisory Committee. Comment time is limited to 3 minutes per person or at the call of the Chair.

    In order to assist the City’s efforts to accommodate persons with severe allergies, environmental illness, multiple chemical sensitivity or related disabilities, attendees at public meetings are reminded that other attendees may be sensitive to various chemical based products. Please help the City to accommodate these individuals.

    The meeting will be held at the Department of Building Inspection, 49 South Van Ness Avenue. The closest accessible BART stations are the Civic Center Station at 8th (at the United Nations Plaza) and Market Street and 16th at Mission Street.

    SF Campaign & Governmental Conduct Code section 1.127 prohibits any person with a financial interest in certain land use matters from making a political contribution to any committee controlled by an individual currently holding, or seeking election to, the office of Mayor, Supervisor, or City Attorney.
    Solicitation or acceptance of such a contribution is also prohibited.

    Be aware that certain matters pending before or acted upon by the Building Inspection Commission may constitute land use matters under section 1.127.
