Citywide Affordable Housing Loan Committee Meeting

This request is to approve MOHCD’s inaugural SOS Policies and Procedures Manual which describes requirements and procedures governing the SOS Program to ensure that eligible household applicants are selected for the SOS Program designated units, receive the proper subsidy, and are treated fairly and consistently. In July 2019, the Board of Supervisors (BOS) established the Senior Operating Subsidy Program Fund (“SOS Program Fund”) for the purpose of providing project-based subsidies to new and rehabilitated senior affordable housing developments funded by the City through MOHCD. The Fund has since been expanded by a $52 million grant from the State of California.
