    Overview

    Members of the FAMSF Board of Trustees will attend this meeting in-person. Members of the public are invited to observe the meeting in-person or remotely online as described below. Members of the public attending the meeting in person will have an opportunity to provide public comment on every action or discussion item.

    In addition to in-person public comment, the Board will hear up to 10 minutes of remote public comment on each action or discussion item. The Board will hear remote public comment on items in the order that commenters add themselves to the queue to comment on the item. Because of the 10-minute time limit, it is possible that not every person in the queue will have an opportunity to provide remote public comment. Remote public comment from people who have received an accommodation due to disability (as described below in the “Accessible Meeting Policy”) will not count toward the 10-minute limit.

    Members of the public are encouraged to provide public comment via email. Please send an email to mbourne@famsf.org by 5pm the day before the meeting to ensure your comment is received by the FAMSF Board in advance of the meeting.

    Accessibility Meeting Policy

    The de Young and Legion of Honor are wheelchair accessible. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs) will be available. For Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD), the Museums use the California Relay Service.


    Remote public participation is available upon request for individuals who cannot attend in person due to disability. Making a request to participate remotely no later than one (1) hour prior to the start of the meeting helps ensure availability of the meeting link.


    Sign Language Interpretation is also available upon request. Captions can be enabled if participating remotely. If requesting remote Sign Language Interpretation, please submit an accommodation request a minimum of 4 business hours prior to the start of the meeting.


    The following will also be made available upon request: (1) a sound enhancement system; (2) a meeting agenda or minutes available in alternative formats; and/or (3) a reader during the meeting. In compliance with the Language Access Ordinance, oral interpretation or translation services will be made available upon request in the language the member of the public requests. This also includes translation of meeting notices, agendas, and minutes (only after the body adopts them), upon written request.
