      The Commission will discuss and may take action on an Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to require the Police Department to create a Community Policing Plan (“CPP”) at each district police station, that, among other strategies, incorporates a foot and bike patrol deployment, and also includes a community process for eliciting input; and to require the public posting of the CPPs with a yearly update.

    3. BOS File #220264 Adult Sex Venues (Discussion and Action Item)

      The Commission will discuss and may take action on Ordinance amending the Planning Code to define Adult Sex Venue and principally permit, conditionally permit, or prohibit Adult Sex Venues in Commercial; Residential-Commercial; Production, Distribution and Repair (PDR); Neighborhood Commercial; Neighborhood Commercial Transit; and Mixed Use Districts;

    4. Resolution Making Findings To Allow Teleconferenced Meetings Under California Government Code Section 54953(E) (Discussion and Action Item)

      The Commission will discuss and possibly take action to adopt a resolution making findings to allow teleconferenced meetings pursuant to California Government Code Section 54953(E).

    5. Small Business Survey 2022 (Discussion Item)

      The Commission will review a draft Small Business survey which is a follow up to a survey conducted in 2020 to gauge the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses in San Francisco. 

    6. Approval of Draft Meeting Minutes (Action Item)
    7. General Public Comment (Discussion Item)

      Allows members of the public to comment generally on matters that are within the Small Business Commission’s jurisdiction but not on today’s calendar, and suggest new agenda items for the Commission’s future consideration. 

    8. Director’s Report (Discussion Item)

      Update and report on the Office of Small Business and the Small Business Assistance Center, department programs, policy and legislative matters, announcements from the Mayor, and announcements regarding small business activities. 

    9. Commissioner Discussion and New Business (Discussion Item)

      Allows President, Vice President, and Commissioners to report on recent small business activities, make announcements that are of interest to the small business community, and make inquiries of staff. Allows Commissioners to introduce new agenda items for future consideration by the Commission.

    Commission hearings are held in Room 400 at City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place in San Francisco (unless otherwise noted). City Hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other assistive mobility devices. Ramps are available at the Grove, Van Ness and McAllister entrances.  Accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs) is available. The closest accessible BART Station is the Civic Center station located at the intersection of Market, Hyde and Grove streets. Accessible Muni lines serving City Hall include 5 Fulton and 49 Mission/Van Ness, and all Metro lines servicing the Metro station at Van Ness and Market.  For more information about Muni accessible services, call 311. Accessible parking in the vicinity of City Hall is available adjacent to Davies Hall and the War Memorial Complex, and also in the Civic Center Garage (355 McAllister Street) and Performing Arts Garage (360 Grove Street). 

     

    Assistive listening devices, real time captioning, American Sign Language interpreters, readers, large print agendas or other accommodations are available upon request.
