As a registered non-citizen voter, you have the right to: 

  1. Vote in the November 5, 2024, San Francisco Board of Education Election. 
  2. Get election information and ask about processes in your preferred language. 
  3. Cast a secret ballot without anyone bothering you or trying to influence you.
  4. Drop off your vote-by-mail ballot at any local polling place or ballot drop box.
  5. Cast an in-person ballot if you visit any voting site before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
  6. Cast an in-person non-provisional ballot if your name is on the precinct roster.
  7. Cast an in-person provisional ballot if your name is not on the precinct roster.
  8. Ask another person to help you mark your ballot (except your employer or union representative).
  9. Get a new ballot if you have made a mistake (as long as you have not cast one yet).
  10. Report illegal, fraudulent, or intimidating election activity by calling (415) 554-4375 .
