Tech Highlight: NATOA Fiber to Housing Award

This month, the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) honored San Francisco’s Fiber to Housing program as the 2024 Community Broadband Project of the Year. This award recognizes the incredible work being done to provide reliable, free high-speed internet to residents of affordable and public housing.

The Fiber to Housing program is on-track to connect over 30,000 units of affordable and public housing to high-speed internet by July 2025, more than doubling the number currently served. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring all residents have access to the digital resources they need.
