The City must determine whether services for formerly homeless individuals provided by United Council of Human Services should be transitioned to a different community-based provider.
The program, part of a larger City effort to offer temporary income as a way to address poverty and the first focused in transgender communities, is now accepting applications.
The public safety initiative will focus on Union Square and other key tourist areas to support the City’s economic recovery, building on the recent expansion of community ambassadors.
