The San Francisco Transgender Day of Remembrance will begin on the City Hall steps at 5:30 pm with opening remarks by community leaders and Mayor London Breed. It will be followed by a procession to UC Hastings Louis B. Mayer Auditorium at 6:00 pm.
Mayor London Breed, Senator Scott Wiener, Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, the Office of Transgender Initiatives and the trans community will come together to celebrate successes and commit to combatting prejudice, discrimination, and violence that affect the transgender community.
This rule is not in effect. On October 11, 2019, a federal judge temporarily blocked the rule from taking effect until the case is decided in court. If it goes into effect, it would mean that using some public benefits could affect your application for a Green Card.
