Dear Community,

As part of the "Fillmore, Feel Feel" initiative, Booker T. Washington Community Service Center will be co-hosting a "Black Families Vaccine Townhall" on Wednesday, June 8th at 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This virtual event is being held in conjunction with New Community Leadership Foundation, SF Department of Public Health, UCSF and Kaiser Permanente. Summer is here, and we need to keep our community and kids informed and safe.

We will hear from Black medical providers, Dr. Amber Wheeler and Dr. Ariel Franks on the latest on Omicron variant, factual vaccine information, and updates on the vaccine for youth aged 6 mos to 5 years. We'll also hear from SF Department of Public Health on the latest COVID impacts on our Black/African American community. Don't miss out!

As a reminder, Booker T. works with Kaiser Permanente for their daily free vaccine clinic at Geary and Presidio every day from 8:30am to 4:30pm, open to all. Get your vaccine and boosters! We have gift card incentives through June 30th for youth and TAY getting their first dose. Sign up today
