Examples of issues taken up over the years include: women's health issues; domestic partnerships and alternative families; LGBT youth issues; discrimination against people with AIDS and AIDS-related conditions; same-sex domestic violence; state sexual orientation discrimination bills; violence against the LGBT communities; discrimination by the religious right wing; immigration issues, especially HIV exclusion; and bisexual issues, among others.

The LGBTQI+ Advisory Committee membership reflects the dynamic diversity of San Francisco's queer community. By centering the most marginalized, we are rooted in the collective liberation of all community members.
