Park Maintenance Evaluation: Features

Park feature scores from FY 2015-2024.

About Park Features

As explained in the Background, evaluations consider individual features in each park. Features include things like children's play areas, trees, table seating areas, and more.

Feature scores tell us if there are areas of a park that are more difficult to maintain. They also can show if there are certain aspects of parks across the city that are performing well.

Key takeaways for FY 2024

Feature scores citywide largely remained the same between FY 2023 and FY 2024. Athletic fields were the only feature that showed a statistically significant change. They increased from 84% in FY 2023 to 89% in FY 2024.

On this page, we discuss the key takeaways for the most recent fiscal year. To explore prior fiscal year's data, use the drop-down menus on the visualizations.
