The Fourth of July fireworks are back this year, thanks to COVID-19 vaccines and our reopening! The show will start at 9:30pm over San Francisco’s incredible waterfront.
Stay healthy while watching the fireworks
You can watch the fireworks from outside, at the waterfront.
The state strongly recommends that anyone planning to attend the Fourth of July fireworks be fully vaccinated, obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending the event, or wear a face covering.
Vaccines are safe. Vaccines are free. No insurance is required. To learn more, including where to get vaccinated, visit sf.gov/GetVaccinated or call 311.
Everyone who is eligible is urged to get vaccinated as soon as they can.
We encourage everyone to sign up for CA Notify as an added layer of protection for themselves and the community to receive alerts when they have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19. Visit canotify.ca.gov to learn more.
You can also wear a mask for added protection.
