Both Moscone and City College sites will pause. No existing appointments will be cancelled. Moscone will pause for 1 week, and reopen once more vaccine supply is available. City College will resume on February 19 for second doses only.
Starting on Feb. 24, San Francisco will move to Phase 1B, Tier 1 of the state’s population prioritization plan and begin vaccinating people who work in education and childcare, emergency services, and food and agriculture sectors, while continuing to vaccinate healthcare workers.
Healthcare workers and community members age 65 and over can book appointments. Supply is limited, and you may not be able to book an appointment right now, even if you are eligible.
On January 28 starting 8 am, some businesses allowed in CA’s Purple Tier can reopen. Reopening businesses must follow safety requirements because of SF’s high case rate.
Between December 18, 2020 and February 23, 2021, people coming in from outside the Bay Area counties were required to quarantine for 10 days.
Update for vaccinated individuals April 2, 2021: Fully vaccinated individuals do not have to quarantine after travel.
City will partner with healthcare providers to stand up a mix of high-volume and community-based sites to quickly get people the COVID-19 vaccine as supply become more readily available.
