Feb. 26 - At City Hall we celebrated and hosted the Black History Month extravaganza with State Controller Malia Cohen and DA Brooke Jenkins. So many beautiful performances. Black History is to be celebrated everyday!

Feb. 27 - I attended the Visitacion Valley Elementary School Black History Month Celebration. The students did a great job on their performances and demonstrated their knowledge of Black culture and why we celebrate Black History!

Feb. 27 - George Washington Carver Elementary School Black History Program was lit today. College tours, sing-alongs, step shows and community collaboration were all featured!

Feb. 28 - Happy Lunar New Year! One last big celebration with Chinatown Community Development Center! Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Feb. 28 - A beautiful day celebrating in community in Potrero Hill on 25th Street with the Wellness Center and community. Beautiful weather and beautiful people!

Feb. 28 - Blackout! Black Dollar! Black Community! Wonderful Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting at 1921 Lounge Today - Social Enterprise in Community! Congratulations to SF Black Wallstreet!

March 1 - Another great Saturday neighborhood clean up started off at All Good Pizza!

March 4 - The Board of Supervisors voted to reaffirm San Francisco’s commitment to our Local Business Enterprise (LBE) Program! This program ensures that small and disadvantaged businesses—especially those owned by women and people of color—have fair access to City contracts, creating jobs and strengthening our local economy. Huge thanks to all our LBEs, business leaders, and labor advocates who showed up at today’s rally and meeting to voice their support. Your work keeps San Francisco thriving, and we’ll keep fighting to ensure opportunities stay local.

Planned Power Outages in Sunnydale
Parts of Sunnydale HOPE SF will experience two temporary power service interruptions on Wednesday, March 19th 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and Friday, March 21st 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. The outages will affect approximately 225 residents of 1491 Sunnydale Ave, 270 Malosi St, 290 Malosi Street, and 242 Hahn St.
The power outage is needed so the SFPUC can bring new buildings onto permanent power.
