City Contracting 101: A Small Business Workshop

Interested in contracting with the City and County of San Francisco but not sure how? Join us to learn about the steps it takes to become a City contractor.

In this workshop, you’ll learn about the steps to become a City contractor, key terminology that the City uses, and essential compliance requirements for small businesses. You’ll walk away with an overview of the different types of contracting opportunities, the registration process and timeline to become a City contractor, and how to complete for City contracts. In addition, you’ll also have the chance to connect with City departments for hands-on support with the contractor registration process.

Program

  • 9:00am – 9:30am: Registration and Light Refreshments
  • 9:30am – 10:30am: Welcome and Keynote
  • 10:45am  – 12:10pm: Concurrent Breakout Sessions & Hands-on Supplier Registration Support
  • 12:15pm – 12:20pm: Closing Remarks
  • 12:30 – 1:00pm: Optional Networking and Supplier Registration Support
