An encampment is a structure to live under, including tents and tarps.
What to do
If an entrance or sidewalk is blocked by a person or an encampment, call non-emergency police at 415-553-0123.
If someone needs medical help right away or is hurting themselves or others, call 911. For all other concerns involving an unhoused person (not in an encampment), submit a different request for service.

Include a photo taken from a safe distance to assist with response.
2. Track your case
After you report, you will get a tracking number from 311. You can use this number, and your email address if provided, to track your case online or on the SF311 mobile app.
