Pau Crego(he/him)
Pau Crego (he/him/his) is a queer transmasculine immigrant who has worked towards equity for trans, non-binary and LGBTQ communities since 2006. He has worked at the Office of Transgender Initiatives since its founding in 2017. Pau stepped into the role of Acting Executive Director for OTI in September 2021. In April 2022, Mayor London Breed appointed Pau to serve as Executive Director.
In his role as Deputy Director and Director of Policy and Programs, Pau was instrumental to OTI’s most notable accomplishments, including increasing critical funding for trans and LGBTQ community services

In his role as Deputy Director and Director of Policy and Programs, Pau was instrumental to OTI’s most notable accomplishments, including increasing critical funding for trans and LGBTQ community services; administering the EmergeSF professional development program for trans immigrants, in collaboration with the Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs and El/La Para TransLatinas; and developing and launching training and policy efforts to increase trans and LGBTQ inclusion, including the City's Gender Inclusion Policy and City College of San Francisco’s Gender Diversity and Inclusion policy.
Pau is also a part-time faculty member in the Health Education Department at City College of San Francisco, and a published author and translator in the fields of trans health, gender diversity, and public health.
