Before starting his firm, Jesse was the Deputy Executive Director of the San Francisco Ethics Commission, a partner at a political law firm in the Bay Area, and enforcement counsel at California’s Fair Political Practices Commission. He was also a business litigation associate for a few years in the early aughts. Jesse also had a life before law school and recalls that it included, among other things, teaching and living in both New Jersey and France. These days, he teaches at both UC Law SF College of the Law and USF Law School which, despite using many of the same words and letters in their names, are actually different schools. Jesse has experience serving on nonprofit boards and currently sits on the board of his local neighborhood association. He is a graduate of Rutgers University, UC Law SF College of the Law, and the Harvard Kennedy School, in that order.
Jesse loves film and looks forward to supporting the commission’s efforts to promote San Francisco as a film production hub that contributes to the region’s economic growth.
