SF responds to coronavirus outbreak with Stay Home order

We are continuing to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak with our Stay Home order and additional measures.
March 20, 2020

As of March 17, San Franciscans must stay home except for essential needs. It is OK to go outside for walks if you are not in a group. This order is in effect until April 7 and may be extended.

On Tuseday, March 23, 2020, Mayor London Breed hosted a virtual press conference to address questions about the City's response.
