I am anxious to get rental assistance quickly because I have not paid my landlord 25% of the rent between September 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021 – and have to do so before September 30. What should I do?

If you have not paid 25% of the rent for the period September 2020 – September 2021, please contact sfrenthelp@evictiondefense.org by September 30. Twenty-five percent is the equivalent of 3.25 months of the rent. If you pay at least 25% of the rent of this period by September 30, then you cannot be evicted for any unpaid rent from that period.  For more information, click here.
