Informative training for City and community service providers on the recent public charge rule changes and public benefits available to immigrant residents. 

About Public Charge.

The training will include:

  • A review of the recent changes to public charge rule and potential immigration consequences from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC)

  • An overview of benefits available to San Francisco immigrants of various statuses, such as: WIC, SNAP, MediCal, HealthySF, etc., from the San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA).
  • Q+A with invited speakers

This training is intended for any service providers that interact with immigrant communities, especially those doing direct engagement, outreach and support. City & County of San Francisco public contact staff, CBO service providers, and anyone interested in learning more are welcome to attend.
