Mpox vaccinations

Track the number of residents vaccinated.

Due to low case numbers, this page will no longer include vaccinations after 12/31/2022.

As of December 2022, over 50,000 doses (first or second doses) of the mpox JYNNEOS vaccine have been administered in San Francisco to both San Francisco residents and non-residents since May 1, 2022.

Vaccinated San Franciscans

The dashboard shows San Francisco residents who have gotten at least one dose of the mpox JYNNEOS vaccine on or after May 1, 2022. It includes all residents ages 18 years or older, even if they got vaccinated somewhere else in California.

People who do not live in San Francisco are not included, even if they got vaccinated in the City. People who have received their first dose at least 28 days ago are eligible to receive a second dose. Each person is only counted once in the dashboard below, even if they have received both first and second doses.

Total residents vaccinated shows the total number of San Francisco residents who have received at least one dose of the mpox JYNNEOS vaccine.

Daily newly vaccinated residents shows the 7-day rolling average number of residents getting their first dose of the vaccine. The 7-day rolling average is the average of residents on a particular day and the previous 6 days. This helps smooth out day-to-day fluctuations.
