Getting the COVID-19 vaccine is one of the most important ways to end the pandemic. Research shows it is very effective and safe. The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) strongly recommends all eligible residents get the vaccine.
Map of San Francisco residents vaccinated by neighborhood
The map below shows the percent of people in each neighborhood that have completed a COVID-19 vaccine series. A vaccine series is complete after an individual has received both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine.
Neighborhoods with a higher rate of residents who have completed a vaccine series are darker blue.
Neighborhoods with a lower percent of residents who have completed a vaccine series are light yellow.
This map includes all doses administered by any provider to any San Francisco resident.
Map of neighborhoods where the City administered our vaccine supply
The City received only a portion of vaccine sent to all providers operating in San Francisco. This map shows where the City is concentrating our vaccination efforts.
This includes:
- Clinics run by the San Francisco Health Network
- Neighborhood sites run by the COVID Command Center in partnership with community organizations
This does not include high volume sites run by the COVID Command Center in partnership with large private healthcare providers.
The map above shades each neighborhood by the percent of residents vaccinated. But the map below shades neighborhoods by what percent of the total SFDPH vaccine supply was administered there. The percentages in each neighborhood equal 100% of vaccine administered by SFDPH.
Neighborhoods with a higher percentage of all the SFDPH vaccines administered are a darker blue.
Neighborhoods with a lower percentage of all the SFDPH vaccines administered are a lighter yellow.
