The building you live in must meet all the following characteristics to qualify:

Residential, built before 1950
In zip code 94110, 94112, or 94124
Has 9 or less units
Has at least one child living in the building who is less than 6 years old, or
Has at least one child who is less than 6 years old visiting often, or
Has families who are expecting children soon

What a tenant can expect from a Fix Lead SF project:

No cost to tenants
Voluntary participation
Active involvement in the project will be needed to ensure safety and success
A unit with less lead poisoning dangers at the end of the project

What to do

Learn more about what tenants will need to do before and during a Fix Lead SF project.

Tell your landlord about the Fix Lead SF program using one of methods below:

Send this link to the owner, or
Provide a flyer with a detailed description about the program (English, Chinese, Spanish, Filipino) and how to apply, or
Ask your landlord to contact the program by calling 415-252-3882 or by sending an email to fixleadsf@sfdph.org, or
Provide Fix Lead SF with your landlord's phone number or email; we will contact your property owner without providing your name.
