The Art+Action initiative aims to uplift artistic voices to inspire communities to participate in the 2020 Census so they can receive their fair share of federal funding and political representation. The artwork selected will appear on a billboard, in Art+Action’s 2020 Census online toolkit, and our social media outlets.
Art+Action is a partner of the the SF Counts citywide Census campaign.
The selected artwork will appear in the Spring of 2020 on a billboard in one of these San Francisco neighborhoods: Balboa Park, Excelsior, Mission, Nopa, North Beach, Tenderloin, or Visitation Valley. The artist will be highlighted as a Featured Artist in Art+Action’s campaign—among locally and internationally renowned artists—and will receive a grand prize award of $1,000.
