Today, the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department (JPD) announced the launch of new interactive data dashboards on its web site. The publicly available dashboards provide annual statistics—some dating as far back as 2018—on many aspects of San Francisco’s juvenile justice system relating to arrests, admissions to Juvenile Hall, case outcomes, and connections to community-based services. Notably, the interactive data dashboards allow users to explore and compare metrics over time, including demographic data regarding gender, race/ethnicity, and age.
