Artist Talavera-Ballon was selected by the San Francisco Arts Commission to create a temporary mural honoring the history of the Geneva Car Barn. Join the artist for a Community Engagement Event on Wednesday, September 16 to help shape the mural's design. Hear from local historian Woody LaBounty, share photos and memories of the neighborhood, and share your ideas for what this mural should include.Learn more about this event!

Strategic Plan

Arts Commission Strategic Plan
The San Francisco Arts Commission has engaged the Arts Management Consulting Firm, AMS Planning & Research (AMS) to help develop its next strategic plan, which will guide the work of the Arts Commission over the next five years. As a member of San Francisco's arts community, your input is crucial to this process. The Arts Commission hosted a series of community open houses and are administering a public survey to gather feedback on how the SFAC has been working, what it can do better, and what the agency's updated five-year strategic plan should prioritize.
